Leaving your job isn’t as simple as telling your boss you quit, grabbing your stuff, and walking out the door. You’ll also need to consider what happens to your company benefit. And any outstanding debts, like unpaid sick days or vacation time. There are plenty of reasons why you may want to leave your job. But there aren’t always clear signs that it’s time to go. If you notice these eight signs, it might be time to start looking for an exit strategy.

1) No Growth : Major Sign to leave your job


You’ve been at your job for a while and you’re not seeing any growth opportunities. Whether it’s that you’re stuck in a dead-end position or that the company is going nowhere, it might be time to make some changes. Leaving your job can be scary, but it doesn’t have to be! There are plenty of resources out there for finding new jobs, and lots of companies are looking for new talent. Here are eight signs it might be time to leave your current job:
1) You feel like the work isn’t fulfilling. 2) The company has no future. 3) Your boss doesn’t listen or just plain doesn’t care about you or the company. 4) There is no upward mobility in sight with this company.

2) Too Much Work Overload (leave your job now)


There are many reasons that a person might need to leave their job. Others have a tough time getting to work on time because of car trouble or public transit issues. Even if you have no particular reason for leaving your job, there is always the risk of layoffs which can make it difficult for anyone who is employed by that company to keep their job.

3) Poor Communication From The Top Down


We often hear about poor communication from the top down and how it can affect the lives of employees. This is just one of the many reasons why we should all be mindful to quit job when things feel off. Communication is essential to making your work day productive and efficient, so if you’re not getting what you need in this area then it may be time to leave your job and find a new company where the top-down communication style works for you.

4) No Respect or Reward for Good Work Done


The first sign that it might be time to leave your job is if you feel like the good work you do. Is never rewarded or appreciated. The second sign is if you feel like your boss isn’t listening and doesn’t seem to care about what you have to say. The third sign that it might be time to leave your job is if you find yourself resenting the people who are below you in rank.
